About the Project
The project will aim to increase the commercialization of primary and value-added agricultural products and enhance the resilience of the food systems in the country. It will be a multi-sectoral, country-wide operation, bringing together agriculture, water, lands, industry, and trade, as well as other sectors. Project interventions will cover the entire country, building on the success of AGCOM (1.0), which is a shift from traditional low productivity-centric interventions to commercial investment to create income and jobs. The project will be developing inclusive agri-food value chains by building and strengthening farmer organizations and supporting productive alliances.
